The towels look fantastic. They were a big hit with the boosters. After seeing the work you guys did, they want to see a catalog, so they can see what else your company can do. Thanks!

I want to say I am EXTREMELY impressed with your job on the t-shirts. I just don’t know what to say…You actually made me look wonderful on this side for making you guys my choice for this job!
I am speechless at the ease it was to order, work with you and get these t-shirts. The t-shirts especially are just wow!
Thank you again,
Jill S.
Custom Pens
Custom pens are a staple for corporate promotional products. It doesn’t matter how big or small your company is, printed pens are a great way to get your brand in front of someone. When a vendor sends custom pens to us, people have a tendency to horde the good ones. If the custom pens don’t write well, or don’t feel nice in your hands, people will give them out evenly to everyone but if we get a bunch of pens in that write really well and are comfortable, forget about it.
People will stalk them and steal the pens off other people’s desks, or worse, they will steal them right out of their hands. My personal favorite custom pen stealing move is when you see someone with the highly regarded pen in their hand, say hey, can I borrow your pen for a second and immediately change the subject or tell them they are being paged. It works every time.
Here is a prime example; Logomark makes a plastic retractable pen with a thick clear blue barrel and grey top (it’s called the Mariposa). Beneficial bank dropped off a handful to us when they were in here soliciting our business. I adopted that custom pen as my Order Writing pen. Now, as someone that never takes their hands off the keyboard, when I am forced to use a pen, I am highly selective. This printed pen writes famously, the ink cartridge doesn’t wobble around as you write, and it’s big and comfortable in my hand. Orders are the only thing I ever have to write by hand, and since I’m out of practice, my handwriting deteriorates every year but with a good custom pen in my hand, I write clearly. Is that bizarre? I guess, but people seek out items that they enjoy using. I have hundreds of different types of custom pens at my disposal, but this is the one I always reach for.
A word to the wise; don’t choose a pen that has a pointy top. At Ampro, we have this one pen in a common area that everyone has to use, and it has a pointy top. Part of the reason it’s still in this common area is that everyone hates this printed pen, which we’ve nicknamed stabby.
If you spend most of your day using retractable pens, these pens with the pointy tops teach you a painful lesson about paying attention. Every one of us has reached for that printed pen, and instinctively pressed down (hard) with our thumbs thinking it’s a retractable pen, only to find out that this mean old pen is definitely NOT retractable, but it IS painful. From everyone at Ampro to you, please don’t choose a stabby printed pen for your next promotion. Choose a gentle, friendly retractable custom pen, and if we have our druthers, we prefer blue ink. Also, you can elect to print either the barrel of the pen, or the clip, just be sure to keep the print simple and clear. The less information you try to get onto that pen, the larger and clearer the print will be. If you are giving away a printed pen as a component of a larger gift it is best not to overdo the logo on the printed pen itself. Simple, plain and clear is the way to go with any small imprint area so that the message is clear and succinct.
