Ice Hockey T Shirts

Off they go with the puck.  I vividly remember going to ice hockey games to visit my sister (who was one of the managers at the time) and to watch my friends get banged around by guys twice their size.  Since Ice Hockey was a club sport at my high school, the team was relatively small and as a sophomore my friends were playing against enormous juniors and seniors from other schools.  It’s a good thing they were quick.  But I also remember how much gear they had to purchase and bring to every game, and I know that our team always had a great turnout at their games.  And, their booster club did their best to sell rice crispy treats and brownies at their games to raise money for travel and the banquet- but competing against the snack bar at the ice rink is not always good business.  What’s the answer?  Well, t shirts, of course.  I realize that I may lose some credibility since I am writing from a big t shirt printing factory.  But, stay with me- ice hockey t shirts are the answer to your booster club woes.

Market To The Conditions

First of all, people are freezing.  Hot chocolate only gets you so far.  The bleachers are cold, they’re sitting still, and their excitement for the game simply will not keep their core temperature up.  Ice hockey t shirts are the perfect booster club item to sell at games.  You can also sell blankets and brownies, but everyone loves t shirts.  If you put together a long sleeve ice hockey t shirt in your team colors, people will buy it.  You don’t have to go crazy with the decorating.  As long as your t shirts are in the team’s colors, and they have a basic print on them, you can sell them and donate considerable proceeds to the boosters organization.  Ice hockey t shirts will also promote the team within the school or organization, which creates a buzz about the team, which will lead to better turnout at the games, which may lead to better fund-raising!

Ramp Up The Boosters
